Fuel Planner?

Recommended Posts

Hello, I was using the Fuel Planner and was entering all the data and everything and came upon the question about winds at flight level...How do I guess what the winds will be...I am using FS2002...suppose at the beginning of the flight I have a headwind of 25 knots..and at the end I have a tail wind of 50 knots..what do I enter into the fuel planner?ThanksChad Moore

I recommend that you get hold of activeskywxRE from www.hifisim.com. It is payware but does give you winds aloft data. In the AS2004 version (for FS9) when flight planning it gives an average wind speed and direction which is what I enter, but I can't remember if aswxRE also does this. It's definitely worth getting for realistic weather and winds.
