Phoenix- help needed :( -A320 Engines do not spool down to Idle

Dear All,I wrote this post a few days ago but there are no suggestions.:(Problem as follows;1.I start up the A320 right engine and then the left engine.2.The engines run upto 106%3. The engines do not spool down to idle thrust.4.I have to press F1 to get it down to idle thrust5.After pressing F1 when i use the joystick throttle to increase thrust just enough to start rolling, the engines again run up to 106%.I have re-installed the FS2002 + ABpro twice already but the problem still persists.Any help guys?Naval.

Make sure you have the throttles on the panel quadrant in the idle gate. If the throttles are in the FLX/MCT or TOGA gates it will override your joystick and the MSFS throttle control keys. Your joystick does not move the throttles in the panel. The default throttle controls for this panel are the keypad "+" and "-" keys, with joystick or MSFS keyboard control possible *only* when the panel's throttles are in the idle gate. If this isn't making sense, then you need to carefully read the docs and understand how the PSS panel does thrust management before proceeding further.Other than that, I'd recommend you look at your throttle axis calibration in FSUIPC...assuming you have the full version.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Washington, DC

Yes this is true. My problem is that this happens when the throtle is in Idle gate and i use the joystick throttle to get just enough momentum to taxi out.Even when I reduce the joystick throttle the engine does not spool down. If this isn't making sense, then you need to carefullyread the docs and understand how the PSS panel does thrustmanagement before proceeding further.Have read this over and over again.Other than that, I'd recommend you look at your throttle axiscalibration in FSUIPC...assuming you have the full version.Do not have the full registered version. However in the throttle axis under "left" 'center" & "right" there are some figures that are there by default. Also, make sure you don't have the "reverse" box checked in the FS control axis settings.There's a utility in the FSUIPC SDK called FSLook that will allow you to see the throttle inputs going into the sim. It's possible that you have a calibration problem or a bad pot on the throttle axis that's causing the input to spike. The "reverse axis" could do it too. Do you fly other planes in FS?One other thing...I am assuming that you already have tried loading up a flight with the default 737 and then switching over to the Airbus. Even if you remove/reinstall FS, it may leave files in place from your default/last flights, and you will load the new airplane with the old settings that may be causing these problems. Always begin by loading a default MSFS aircraft (with the NAV/GPS switch in NAV) in 2D cockpit view before loading any add-on aircraft: PSS, PMDG, or other. I highly recommend making a default FS aircraft at a default airport your default flight, then proceed from there.Last, I highly recommend purchasing the full FSUIPC utility...lots of useful capabilities, and NONE of these complex add-ons would be possible were it not for the years of work Pete Dowson has put into that module and the knowledge of FS internals that it has produced.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Washington, DC
