PSS A3xx UNABLE CRZ FL FMC message

Recommended Posts

Guest valterg

Hello:Recently I turned to FS2004. Until now, I was flying PSS A319/320 in FS2002.For FS2004, I did a fresh installation from the installer base for PSS A3XX.I used to fly a very important route in Brazil, the Ponte Aerea between Sao Paulo (Congonhas Airpt - SBSP) and Rio de Janeiro (Santos Dumont - SBRJ). In FS2002, flying this route - dep from 17R, SID DUMO transition LOPES in FL 270, STAR AFONSOS1, Descent JULIETT1 to 20L, was no problems. In FS2004, I'm always receiving the FMC message: UNABLE CRZ FL, starting from the programming.Intersting, I'm using exactly the same settings that I was using in FS2002: fuel, ZFW, route, etc. Is there a way to do some adjustements in plane controls, for example, the climb rate, doing a fine tune in the plane (in FMC, .cfg file, etc)?Anyone noted the same, or others, issues while migrating PSS Airbus from FS2002 to FS2004?Thank you.Valter

Hi ValterThis message most probably results from the fact that in your flightplan TOD (Top of Descent) would be reached before TOC (Top of Climb). I suggest to reduce cruise level step by step.Rgds, Sam
