A3xx Load Editor - Incorrect Value Error

Recommended Posts

Guest howmanymoreaccounts

Sorry if this is a repeat of what somebody else might have posted, but when I try to search for topics that contain phrases to do with the load editor, the search just doesn't work for me.Basically, when I select A321 Scheduled in the A3xx Pro load editor, it gives me a runtime '380' error saying that it's an "Incorrect property value".Any way of fixing this?ThanksJonathan

Phoenix reckon you need to download microsoft runtime files, I tried that twicw and still got the error message. The only way I sorted it was to completely uninstall all the A3xxx and start again. After that, open up the load editor, make your changes, MINIMISE load editor-DO NOT SAVE IT, and fly.The minute you try to save the load edit values, the invalid property message re-appears.A big pain I know, but works.

Argh, well now, if I save anything, the program won't even open in the future. So it's completely mucked up now. And I did paste that into the A321 aircraft.cfg file, it worked, but saving it just stops it working in the future. Just gives an error when I try to open it, one of many errors.Any further way of getting it working?Jonathan

Okay, well that works - but as soon as I save any configuration in the load editor, then close it - if I try to re-open it, it gives me the error again:Run time error '380'Invalid property valueJonathan

If this is the problem I think it is then it has been discussed here repeatedly and the fix has been posted several times... Assuming it is the same problem, here is the deal. The bug appears when one saves a loadout in the loadeditor using one of the 'Chartered' aircraft with a pax count higher than the max pax count in coach class in the 'Scheduled' aircraft. Next time one opens the loadeditor and select a 'Scheduled' configuration, the error occurs. The fix is to do the following when one wants to use a 'Scheduled' layout after having saved a 'Chartered' with a high passenger count: Open the aircraft.cfg in Notepad, scroll down to the WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE section, and edit the first number in the station_load.5 entry. Example: If it looks like this:station_load.5 = 32220, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Psgr Sect OB (lbs) CoachChange it to look like this:station_load.5 = 02220, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Psgr Sect OB (lbs) CoachThe exact entry is not important as long as it makes the coach pax count lower than the max coach pax count for the 'Scheduled' configuration.Hope this solves the issue, once and for all... There might be some other issues I'm not aware of, in which case I'm sorry for taking up your time...Best,/Bj
