How can I save the flight ?

I am a new user of A340. I followed the tutorial of CYYZ-KORD pdf.andsaved the flight after setting MCDU and had engines started.But next time when I select the flight, MCDU is not saved and engines remain dumb.At first at panel config utility, checked "start with cold anddark cockpit. Please help me how I can save the flight.

If you look further down the list of topic you'll find the same question which I've answered with a method for a save and restart. But it's very fiddly and I don't really recommend you routinely save flights and try to restart them.
