Bad sound quality (distortion, popping) in FSS A340

When I fly the PSS A340 (the only PSS aircraft I currently have) I experience a lot of poor audio quality - a lot of the sounds are very "gritty" and there is a lot of popping. Sometimes it goes away, but inevitably returns a short while later. Sometimes switching to an outside view and then back to cockpit makes it go away, but only temporarily.It is not just the sounds in Flight Simulator that do this. For example, if the simulation is paused and the screensaver comes on, the sound Windows XP makes when coming out of the screensaver to the welcome screen will be distorted too.However, this only happens when I'm flying the PSS A340 - all of the MSFS standard aircraft sound fine and I have never experienced this problem or a similar one with any other game.I'm running on:Pentium 4, 1.6MHz768MB RAMRadeon 9600 128MB graphics cardThe PSS cockpit is the best things I have ever seen for Flight Sim and anything you could do to help fix this one problem would be much appreciated.-Matt

Hi all, I had the same problem with WinXP and a SB Live Platinium 5.1 card.
