Airbus MCDU problem:

Recommended Posts

When I import a FS9 "Flight Planner" originalted flight plan, or originate one from scratch in the MCDU either to, or from KIAD I get an error message in the MCDU: "UNABLE CRZ FL". This occurs when I enter the zero fuel weight and/or fuel load in the second page of the "INIT" page. This occurs on all of the airbuses. There may be other locations that do the same thing, but I have not noticed them yet. This is a SimFlyer airport on my system, but I have several others which do not result in this message. What does this term mean ("UNABLE CRZ FL") mean and is there anything I can do about it?While I am showing my ignorance, is there a loadedit utility for the A340?Also, is there a way to import flightplans from either FS9 or FSNAV into the Dash8 FMS?Thanks:RTH
