Cannot set Autopilot to control Altitude

Recommended Posts

Guest rodn

Hi there,I am a new user of PSS A340-300. I was following diligently the steps of the tutorial (KMIA-KJFK) and all was going well. During the take-off procedures I turned on the AP1 (AutoPilot 1) expecting the following actions: (as outlined in the tutorial)(OK) - aircraft will bank right to intercept HEDLY(OK) - speed will climb and hold at 250 knots(failed) - altitude will level off at 5,000 ftThats's the problem: The altitude control is not being managed by the autopilot. What should I do in order to fix this problem ?thanks in advance, best regardsRon
