A320 CL THRUST

I have been flying the 'bus' for 3 years in FS2K, and also do quite a lot of observational flying on real 'bus' flight decks through my job.No matter how hard I try I can't get a realistic CL thust reduction after removing the thrust lever from FLX. Is anyone else aware of this??Upon moving the lever back one detent, there should be a very noticeable reduction in thrust which is unmistakeable to the ear. On mine it seems to stay at a very high N1.Any suggestions??
