Airbus Flight Plan Following

HiI can`t get any of the airbuses to follow a loaded FS9 flight plan correctly, at different sections the plan is lost and requires manual repositioning to pick it up again.can anyone tell me why this is and what i`m doing wrong.ThanksSpike :-)
