sound question

i wonder to know what is the background sound when the engines are down

I can join this amazement. I hear a deep pulsing sound in the background even when the APU is off.But I have no solution for itSorry Volker

I'm having the same problem. The background noise gets loud for about 4 mins, then it's back to normal. Any ideas why this is happening?

Assuming y'all are talking about the heavy busses, its the GROUND ROLL sound you're hearing - simply copy that section of the default 737's sound.cfg and use it to replace same section in the A330/340 sound.cfg. Either that or just compare them - you'll see why the heavys rumble even when not moving.regards,Mark
