Help!! A330-200 Take-Off V-Speeds?

Recommended Posts

Guest james320

Does anyone know where I can find a table giving A330-200 take-off V-speeds based on different take-off weights.I have one for A320. If it's of use to anyone, you can download it (along with lots of other useful documents for PSS A320 pilots) from http://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/frameset.htmlJust click TRAINING > ADVANCED TRAINING > AIRBUS.

The direct link is www.speedbirdonline.cvo.uk/airbus.htmlI think you will find it almost impossible to find v-speed tables for the A330 or A340. Most airlines with these types now seem to use laptops with the performance software loaded which takes away some of the hassle of paper manuals. I have searched in vain for paper copies and even a colleague of mine at the British Embassy in Paris couldn't get this out of Airbus.

Regarding v-speed tables giving the speeds for a given weight: Does such a thing even exist for the A330 and A340?I have a real-life A340 manual right here (the FCOM, Flight Crew Operation Manual, published by Airbus), and it contains no such thing. What it does have are tables giving maximum weight and speeds for a given runway distance, altitude and temperature (flex and/or actual temp). It's the same kind of tables Matt Zagoren posted a subset of, available here: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/hsors/FS_Soft/acftdata.htmlI was just thinking that maybe it'd be easier to locate the data if searching for the right type of tables ... I am also in desperate need (well ... ;)) of takeoff data for the A330, but haven't been able to find any ... Best,/Bj
