If the runtime error only occurs for a specific aircraft, say the A320 Scheduled, one thing that has worked for me in the past which has not required any sort of re-install is to go to the aircraft .cfg file for that aircraft and look at the weight and balance section. It can happen that the numbers get out of sync somehow:[WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE]reference_datum_position=0.000000,0.000000,0.000000max_number_of_stations=50station_load.0 = 0450, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Crew (lbs) LEAVEstation_load.1 = 3000, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Galleys (lbs) LEAVEstation_load.2 = 7000, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Baggage (lbs) Baggagestation_load.3 = 4480, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Cargo (lbs) Cargo station_load.4 = 2520, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Psgr Sect OA (lbs) Firststation_load.5 = 24300, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Psgr Sect OB (lbs) CoachSo in the left column of numbers reduce the numbers not marked LEAVE to a low number, for example station_load.2 = 1. Then save and re-start the loadedit prog.

I reran the base installer and selected "Rebuild Config" as you suggested. Still no luck. The error message says: "Run time error 76, path not found". Same for both the metric and English versions.Any other suggestions?

I have uninstalled ALL PSS Airbus products from my computer (including the PSS files in the aircraft folder in the same folder with the fs9.cfg file). I also manually removed any files that did not uninstall.I then restarted my computer in "clean boot" mode so that nothing was running except Microsoft services.I then reinstalled the PSS Airbus A320 base package (panel, aircraft, sounds, NavData). I have a registered copy of FSUIPC already installed.Guess what? When running the loadedit program I got the same, familiar message: "Run time error 76, cannot find path".I give up, again!

can you post what your weight section looks like from the aircraft.cfg filesome PC setups place a ',' instead of '.' which will cause the error you are gettingJohn PSS SUPPORTsupport@phoenix-simulation.co.ukhttp://www.avsim.com/pss/phoenix.jpg

Here it is. I commented out the originals. These values were entered manually from a backup file. LoadEdit still does not run.[WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE]reference_datum_position=0.000000,0.000000,0.000000max_number_of_stations=50//station_load.0 = 0450, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Crew (lbs) LEAVE//station_load.1 = 3000, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Galleys (lbs) LEAVE//station_load.2 = 7000, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Baggage (lbs) Baggage//station_load.3 = 16000, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Cargo (lbs) Cargo //station_load.4 = 6300, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Psgr Sect OA (lbs) First//station_load.5 = 20700, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Psgr Sect OB (lbs) Coach//sum of original station_loads = 53,450 poundsstation_load.0 = 0450, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Crew (lbs) LEAVEstation_load.1 = 3000, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Galleys (lbs) LEAVEstation_load.2 = 5175, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Baggage (lbs) Baggagestation_load.3 = 12375, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Cargo (lbs) Cargo station_load.4 = 5040, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Psgr Sect OA (lbs) Firststation_load.5 = 16560, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0 //Weight Psgr Sect OB (lbs) Coach//sum of modified station_loads = 42,600 poundsempty_weight= 90400empty_weight_roll_MOI=3900000.000000empty_weight_pitch_MOI=3000000.000000empty_weight_yaw_MOI=3000000.000000empty_weight_coupled_MOI=250.000000empty_weight_CG_position=0.000000,0.000000,0.000000max_gross_weight=215775.000000//zfw(original) = 90,400 + 53,450 = 143,850 pounds//zfw(current) = 90,400 + 42,600 = 133,000 pounds

the only way I can duplicate error 76is if I delete the aircraft.cfg files for the 319, 321the loadedit needs all the aircraft.cfg files to runJohn PSS SUPPORTsupport@phoenix-simulation.co.ukhttp://www.avsim.com/pss/phoenix.jpg

I have now installed the A319, A320 and A321 and LoadEdit is working. I guess you should make it clear somewhere that you need all three aircraft installed to make it work. I seldom fly the A319 or A321 so did not bother to install them.Thanks.

Hi.Just my 2 cents. I had the same problem when I had, say, the A320 loaded close the maximum weight and tried to start de app, because the weight is grater in the A320 than in the A319. When I reduced the load of the aircraft everything went fine.Regards.
