A 3XX sound quality requirements

Documentation suggests that sound quality should be set to high for PSS products in FS 2004. Honestly whether it is set to high or low I cannot tell any audio difference. Why cannot one tell the difference. What does sound quality do?Where are the sound wav's for this product located?Thanks,Greg
