Can't lift the A319/320/321 of the ground......

Recommended Posts

Guest chris_1981

Hello,I own the cd version of A320 professional. I installed it in fs2004 following the fs2004 cd update. However, I'm not able to fly the plane, because it won't take off at all. I entered all the right values in the FMC, I used the ZFW of the load manager (no overweight),but when I pull back my control column at V1 nothing happens, other than that the plane 'drives' on in the grass...accelerating to 220 knots but without taking off. I use a standard flap/trim setting in the FMC of 2/up2.5And the strange thing is that everything goes OK with the A330/340.Is there maybe something wrong with e.g. lift scalars in the aircraft config? Thanks for any input,Christiaan Gorter

Make sure "Discon elev trim axis for AP" is NOT checked in the FSUIPC technical tab.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Washington, DC

Thanks for your reply, but I also found a solution to my problem! The Pitch trim (LOWER ECAM, flight controls page) was at 0,0I pitched the trim up, so it said -2,5 degrees up. Now my plane is correctly trimmed and can leave the ground....Christiaan

Glad you solved your problem.I would have mentioned trim, except your original post said you were using a standard flap/trim setting of 2/2.5 UP...RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Washington, DC

Hello Bob, I have got the same problem, and I did check the FSUIPC. When I use the Num 8 or Num 2 to adjust elevator pitch you can see the arrows move but then they automatically return to 0.0ThanksAndy

I don't think keyboard control of the PSS Scarebusses is possible...requires a joystick.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Washington, DC

Hello all, first reply.I have the same issue... Can't take off.First, I have the Airbus Pro and the A340 installed from the Internet installer, not the CD. I use the Saitek X-45 controller.Second, the A340 flies like an angel.Third, the A320 flies like a rock. Here's what I tried before posting:- FSUIPC ver.3.40, 3.411 and 3.44 give the same results.- Can't take off using the 2D panel, but CAN take off using the 3D panel.- I also tried the trim setting in the MCDU. No luck here either.- There has been references to the "Technical" tab in FSUIPC and modify one setting. I don't have such a tab. FSUIPC is not registered. Should it be?I also found that once airborne using the 3D panel, the aircraft can be controlled. But if I switch back to the 2D panel, control is lost.Any help would greatly appreciated.Regards,Jean-Francois St-Pierre
