Airbus 320 Compact panel view in fs9

Recommended Posts

Guest pip1755

First of all as a new user of PSS Airbus I've found a lot of useful tips on how to fly and setup correctly. But I haven't found a way of displaying correctly the compact (VFR) view (Panel views - Systems manual). Numpad 2 gives me an outside view but above all instruments. This would be useful at takeoff and approach. There must be a simple explanation so any help appreciated.Philip

Shift+2 is the normal combination.

Thanks for the tip.Shift+2 from the alpha kbd does the trick and not shift+2 from numeric pad as I had been using.CheersPhlip

Don't forget you have shift+3 for the MCDU and Shift+4 for the pedestal.

I hate to zombie bump this thread, but you might want to update your Panel and Systems manual with this information as the manual says it's Numpad 2 for the compact view, which is of course the outside view. Was very confusing until I searched on it and found this informative thread. Thanks again for the info and sorry for the late bump,Ken
