CYYZ to KORD tutorial for the A330

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this has been asked... I did a search or two and found nothing.Due to the BIG sale, I decided to buy the Airbus Pro (319/320/321) package. Excellent product, a huge bonus at the new price of under $20.00 CND by the way! Thanks!Anyway, since the navdata is out of date in the tutorials for the A32x variants, I thought I would use the newer tutorials (the A330/A340 ones). Now I realize there are a few differences and I believe I have that figured out, but, I could be wrong. The "specific" problem that I am having is with the ILS approach in the CYYZ-KORD tutorial (for the A330). I hit ILS then LOC as directed... I am in HDG mode set to 171 as directed... the ILS (auto update mode - "small print") for the runway 14R is set at 109.75.I have tried the tutorial 3 times... again, thinking that I can. Can I? If so, any ideas what's going wrong? Thanks!Murray Wheten

>what exactly is the problem?>>> No ILS LOC, hence no auto landing. >did you try the FS9 tutorial for the 320, it can be found at>the Phoenix site>>> Yes. It works but every waypoint has to be entered separately because one (or more) of the airways in the tutorial do not exist in the more resent version of the AIRAC (504 for instance). I am lazy! :)>>John>PSS SUPPORT>support@phoenix-simulation.co.uk>>http://www.avsim.com/pss/phoenix.jpg
