OEW 41t or 42.6t?

Recommended Posts

Looking at the information given by PSS an the A320 the manual states that the typical OEW is 41.0tIf you go to the load manager and enters 0 pax, 0 bagage, 0 cargo, you get a ZFW to be 42.6tI've tried to find an explanation to this - my assumption is that OEW = ZFW when no pax, luggage or cargo is loaded. Isn't crew included in OEW? Catering?yoursTorben AndersenESA156, SAS693

Hey Torben,in the fuel planner it says something about 1600lbs of minimum desired landing fuel. Could that be the reason?Cheers,Sascha

Hey SaschaI wouldn't think so - fuel is fuel, so the 1600kg minimum is the captain responcibility, not FSimulator. And the 1600kg of fuel can't be used in an emergency if it doesn't show up as fuel in the tanks.Torben
