A340 EFIS Panels missing

Recommended Posts

Guest tlctiger62

I just installed the PSS A340 into FS2004, via the on line purchase. I downloaded and ran the A340Pro_Base_Setup.exe, which ran and installed the aircraft with no errors. However, when I run the aircraft in FS, once I turn on the batteries and get the APU going and select APU generator, the PFD and E/WD EFIS screens remain blank. The ND and SD show up correctly with their respective data. I did an uninstall/reinstall, that didn't help. I ran an install, with the choice of update aircraft config, that didn't help. I did a full uninstall and downloaded a new install file from PSS, ran that and still no change. I even made sure that avionics were turned on by default in the basic FS aircraft. I can start the engines, I can run the MCDU, everything except see these two EFIS screens, in the 2d or 3d panels. Does anyone know how to fix this or what I did wrong?Thank you

The gauge hasnt properly loaded. The only way to make sure its all 100% is to ensure you are starting from a situation (flight) based on the default, with the view from within the aircraft. When you select the A340 it should start with the full height panel showing both ECAMs.
