Cannot make the A320 fly need help

Recommended Posts

I have been trying for the last three weeks trying to get the A320 fly consistently using FS2004. I also upgraded and registered FSUIPC whcih is set with default values. On one advice on this forum I also tried tos et the wind to change gradually. Initally I suspected memory problems and Upgraded to 1Gbyte Ram. I have set a short 20min flight in Building Storm weather and I consistently encounter the folliwng problems:-1. On takeoff many times if I touch the Joystick to align on the runway the auto trust will start going up and down and will never make it to VR.2. If somehow I take off (when 1 does not happen) if I have the ATC window or the MCDU for too long all of a sudden the A320 will go out of control and eventauly dives down. I can only correct this if I go into outside view and disable the AP.As much as I like the A320 now I am getting out of ideas in trying to have the A320 fly decently. I need help.

Have you reset the control assignments (within FS) to the defaults? Also, and more probable, is that you are suffering from the mouse flicker issue.Within the panel.cfg look for [window08] section - then look for size_mm=1,1Change that to read size_mm=2,2All should now be fine.

I did what you are advising long time ago but unfortunatly it did not fix the mouse issue, I had it both 1,1 and 2,2. I corrected this on my friends computer but on mine it did not have any effect or the effect was much less. The only difference is that I am using a USB Optical Mouse but connected through a USB to PS2 convertor.I am running out of ideas.
