A330 vertical speed up FL100

I am happy with PSS A330 - so far. Exploring this model gives a very satisfying feeling.I have a question though. After intialization of MCDU and flight plan the aircraft provides VS up to +4,000 ft/min. With IAS about 250 it can climb with VS +3,000 - 3,500 up to 10,000 feet.Is it possible? It appears ..er..er a "rocket-like" mode.I might do something wrong while programming MCDU - I am a novice with this model.Please advise.NickMoscowRussia

Good Day Nick ,i am quite sure the A330 could climb well up to 10000ft ..... WHILE operating EMPTY ;) ;)So , i would urge you to try setting the " LoadEdit " program , and putting lots of cargo and passengers onto the aircraft.Remember this will need a longer runway to get airbourne , and i also think that is when you will see the A330 starting to perform like it does day-in , day-out , all over the world :)Calum

C'mon! I set A330-300 Thai Airways for Bangkok - Paris route.No big difference - up to 10,000 it gave VS up to +4,200 ft/min.If that's the way A330-300 flies - fine. But it appears to me it is still too much.
