How to place a fix in the MCDU

good day to you all first i would like if their a way to place a fix in the mcdu . and if their a way how would do it and what format it would type in eg.( N17*55.8 W076*46.7) how would i type that in thank clayton

I use the following format in Airbus Pro series Clayton >>N1755.8/W07646.7NOTE: You must round off the digits to right of decimal pointsto one decimal place (ie. N1755.77 becomes N1755.8)There are other cool Fix placement methods also. MCDU section ofSystems (Page 48) makes for some interesting reading ~:)Hope this helps.Ken B.

Hi You can also type in Place/ Bearing/distanceIE :- HON/256/14.1HON being a VOR 256= the heading and 14.1= the distance in nm.Yours William
