PROBLEMS WITH ILS APPROACHES A3XX Series

Recommended Posts

Guest Interceptor

Hi simmers,I'm having some problems during the APP procedure, I have programmed my MCDU prior departure etc etc, but when I select the arrival runway everything seems to work well. The problem begins when I switch RADNAV button. The right ILS frequency is set but not the ID of the localizer (QAA 110.30) so I think I'm missing something in the MCDU because when I start the APP over the IAF I switch on the ILS and LOC buttons of the FCU but nothing happens nor when turning to final. Also when switching the ND to ILS mode the "magenta bar" wich represents the LOC is not displayed. I tried to do the same that was talked in the following post: "Problems with APP/LOC A3XX" but nothing happened, I have the same problem yet.Does anybody can help me, please?

Hi John, thanks for your reply and support, but I don't understand why ILS don't work when I switch on the ILS button because in the left corner of the PFD the ILS frequency appears but the LOC and Glide Slope not, so as a result I can't proceed with ILS approaches as LOC and Glide symbols are not displayed on the ND, I have to land manually. Could you tell me what can I do to solve this problem? Thanks in advance
