After take off dive?!!

Recommended Posts

Guest ian johnson

Hey. I have been flying the PSS airbuss's A319/320. When ever I take off, 7 seconds after lift off, I have to engauge autopilot so I don't dive into the ground. How do I fix this or prevent this?

Look further down this page and you will see a thread called "A320/319/321 nose diving after take-off and gear...". That gives you several things to look for and change. I recommend you get the registered versin of FSUIPC as one of the solutions requires that.

I would love to hear if you get this fixed, I have exactly the same problem. If you use the virtual cockpit or other views it will fly, but switch back to the 2D view and the nose drops.

Did you set your trim and flaps? That is an interesting problem you are describing.Michi

...and check your fuel and payload. Taking off with 100% load will often cause problems. However many pilots have found that on the technical page of the registered version of FSUIPC unchecking "Discon Elv Axis for AP" solves the dive problem. I never had it so can't confirm the effect but I have it unchecked just to be on the safe side.
