Some things to look at:- in your default flight with the MS default aircraft, make sure the GPS/NAV switch is set to NAV;- make sure you setup the departure airport, SID and the rest of the flight plan so that there is no white "Discontinuity" line anywhere in the flight plan. If there is press the CLR button and then the left line select key next to the discon line;- get hold of the tutorial in the Speedbirdonline Airbus hangar (address below) so you can check you are not missing any step. It is now old and in need of replacement but the pronciles are correct;- on the FCU (on the glareshield make sure you are not in selected mode. Make sure the heading window is showing --- to denote managed mode (i.e taking its heading from the MCDU);- finally (and with tongue in cheek), if you are only inputting the flight plan when ready for takeoff you are doing this too late, it should be done before pushback!Get back to us if the problem persists.Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk
