pss a320 FMC doesnt fly FP

ok i finally start my first flight and now the FMC doesnt follow FP route. It wonders off on its own. Say im on the ground ready for t/o. Ill input route in FMC then when airborne i activate the autopilot to fly the course the route in FMC keeps discontinuing its very annoying. whats up ?

Some things to look at:- in your default flight with the MS default aircraft, make sure the GPS/NAV switch is set to NAV;- make sure you setup the departure airport, SID and the rest of the flight plan so that there is no white "Discontinuity" line anywhere in the flight plan. If there is press the CLR button and then the left line select key next to the discon line;- get hold of the tutorial in the Speedbirdonline Airbus hangar (address below) so you can check you are not missing any step. It is now old and in need of replacement but the pronciles are correct;- on the FCU (on the glareshield make sure you are not in selected mode.
