FS 2004 ATC Failure

Hi!After reinstalling A340 in FS 2004 and Download of Updates e.g. from JustFlight-Support-Area i've the following problem.1. When using the A330/A340 with FS-Build oder FS2004 generated Flight plan after a few minutes the FS2004-ATC failed.2. There's a malfunction of the gears. I can't pull them up.HELP! I like this aircraft and used for hours (or days ;-) ) in FS 2002.Peter

This sounds like the dead battery glitch. So.... make sure you always start your FS session with a default Microsoft aircraft (I use the Boeing 737) with the engines off but the avionics ON. Once your default MS aircraft has loaded, change to the Airbus.If you don't have the registered version of FSUIPC you should edit the A320 aircraft.cfg and add the following line to the Electrical section:electric_always_available=1If you do have the registered version of FSUIPC (current version is 3.536), make sure you check the "Extend Battery Life Indefinitely" box in the Miscellaneous page.Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk

Hi,I have the same problem as Peter and I read Rob's hint with care. I opened my aircraft.cfg, but I didn't find the "Electrical section".Rob: Could you give me another hint, where to add the line electric_always_available=1 ?Thanks and regards,Fritz
