You do need to enter the approach data but those are not directly related to autoland, you should be entering that data whatever type of landing you will do.Try this and see if it helps: in your aircraft.cfg file go to the flaps.0 section and look for the lift_scalar entry. Change it to the following depending on the type you are flying:A340: lift_scalar=0.8A330: lift_scalar=0.6Edit: however I would strongly recommend using the improved flight dynamics done by Bob Scott. If you email me at the address below I will send the files to you.Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk

HyWell I've got the same problem and I use Bob Scott's file.I'll try to change the lift _scalar and try it out.Just a little note. Perhaps it looks like the PIC737 and PMDG 737 has got an autoland because theire vertical speed is lower than the widebodies, but you still have to flare manualy because 737's doesn't have autolands. You need to be under 200ft/min and you will never achive this with autopilot on with 737 planes.GreetingsThierry Aelst

Bob Scott's file made the lift even worse, resulting in no flare and a nose first landing. Also, I should add, when I preform an auto land WITH OUT using Bob Scott's file and WITH NO wind the aircraft lands ok.It

I haven't done an autoland in the A340 with Bob Scott FDE for quite a long time (I normally fly the A319) so I'll have a go later today and let you know what the result is.Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk

Hy ROBI changed lift_scalar A330 to 0.6I had to change it back to 0.001 as in Bob Scott's file. I had again nose down as in the original files.I simply think that the autoland isn't simulated as good as the T7 from PSS, and the PMDG744 and Level-d 767.The best is to do your flare manualy to land at a ft/min rate less then 200.Thierry Aelst
