Problem with panel..

Recommended Posts

Guest sirkeen

I just installed the Pro package and somehow got this for a view out front (See attached JPG). I tried a few of the user edits on the PSS site, but nothing worked. I've also looked through this forum a bit to see if there was an exsisting post. Please help, regards,AC

In the panel.cfg file make sure in the window08 sectin that you have the following:Background_color=16,16,16size_mm=1,1position=7visible=1ident=59gauge00=PSS-A320!Server, 0, 0, 1Edit: if you get the mouse flicker probvlem with this, change the size_mm=1,1 to 2,2.Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk

OK, are you starting your FS session with a default MS aircraft with the avionics on and then - when in 2D cockpit view - switching to the Airbus? If so, what happens if you go to the Airbus 2D cockpit view and re-load the aircraft? Others have reported that that can cure it.Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk

I started FS at KSEA, withe default Cessna, engines running avionics on, and then while in 2d cokcpit view switched to the Bus..Still the same outcome, with only half of the front view available. When I drag the main panel down, it looks like the attached file.Thank you for prompt responses..AC

Hi AcSorry I can't offer any real help with your problem , but I noticed that you have some sort of "panel switcher" at the top of both of your pictures. I have never seen this with any of my airbusses, and was wondering if the fault is with a different programme and not the bus. Just mentioned this because none of the other posters that tried to help you have mentioned this.regardsJohn Calleja

That user edit could be causing the problem. I'll have to install it tonight and see what the effect is. As to your question about click-spots or Shift keys for windows, both methods should work fine. I tend to use a combination of the two.Could you send me by email your panel.cfg please (the address is in my sig). I will load it on a testbed aircraft and see what the result is.Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk
