Hi all..I just purchased the Airbus series, and trying to go throgh the tutorial flight.I am encountering the same problems whenever i try.I follow the tutorial to the letter, but here is where i have a problem."Before the application of power the FMA should read CLB and NAV in blue"I only have CLB in blue. And the second thing, is that when i have started up everything and applying thrust, only the left engine revs up... the right one stays at idle, around 23.What to do?RegardsRasmus

>Hmmm... working now.... still have the t.o. inhibit posted in>another messageThe T.O. Inhibit msg is normal. The message should only show after T/O thrust is set. If any abnormality/malfunction occurs with T.O thrust set (prior to V1), the aircraft will "inhibit" the T/O.Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the message dissappears after V1.

You need to check your elevator pitch-trim prior to takeoff. Recommended setting is 2.0 - 2.2 UP, as verified on the "F/CTL" screen in EICAS. After you do that, check your FMGC and ensure the SAME setting is set during initialization.
