Entering Latitude/Longitude Waypoints

Hi Everyone,Is there a way to enter in latitude/longitude waypoints into the FMS? If so could someone explain how or point me to a location that provides the information.Thank you,Brian

There certainly is Brian, do it in the format 5353.2N/312.6W but you can get one of my old tutorials on fixes and DME arcs from the speedbirdonline airbus hangar in my sig below which explains PBD, PBX and LL fixes. Hi Rob,I read you tutorial, thanks for pointing me in that direction.So how would you enter in the following LL waypoints? 4000N/13000W Would you enter them in 4000.00N/13000.00W?Thanks,Brian

4000.0N/13000.0W You'll then see on the LAT REV page the coordinates 40.00.00N/130.00.00W.In other words the last two digits of each coordinate need to be to one decimal place. Hi Rob,Sorry to have to rehash this topic again. My virtual airline assigned me a A330-300 route from KCLT to Gatewick (EGKK). I haven't done much overseas flying(except Hawaii) until now, just mainly in the states. The flight plan included LL waypoints, but I'm unsure if they are correct becasue I'm having a tough time entering them into the PSS FMGS as we've been talking about in this email string. Here is a copy of the FP:KCLT HOR2 NALEY MOL J48 PTW J77 BAF J80 BGR J581 TOPPS N146B CYMON 51/50 53/30 MALOT UN535 SHA UG1 KENET WILLO1F EGKK/0747So what I'm unclear about is the 51/50 53/30. I'm assuming that these are the "north" latitude points, but isn't there supposed to be "west" longitude waypoints as well? Are these entered in 5150.0N and 5330.0N? Or 5100.0N and 5000.0N? Also I didn't notice any STARS for Gatewick. I use Terry Yingling's database and none came up, so I'll have program the Willo1F manually I guess.I'm confused. Yikes. The 51/50 and 53/30 waypoints are not LL fixes, they look to me like NAT Tracks (North Atlantic Tracks). These change on a daily basis depending on the prevailing winds and more info can be obtained from sites like http://www.gofir.com/general/nat_tracks/index.htm. I'm not the best one to advise you on these as I never fly over to the USA or back. I suggest you also have a look at vatsim for guidance (eg www.vatsim-uk.org then click London FIR -> Oceanic -> NAT Tracks).Gatwick has plenty of STARS, SIDS and everything else.
