A320 Flight Director

Can anyone clarify the flight director on the A320 / FS9 operation. Why does it not give the correct guidance to follow an ILS. I have found this at most airports. Is it something to do with FS9 or add on scenery ? The problem is on all aircraft as far as I can tell but I only use FS for the airbus. It makes use of it impossible. I generally switch it off but it should work. It also seems too coarse in its application ie the commands to fly up or down seem excessive to capture the correct fligh path. Any info greatfully recieved.

If I recall correctly the coarseness you refer to is due to a limitation in FS2002 when the product was developed but I'm not 100% sure.
