http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/148012.jpgIt's not AWY, it's RWY and what I think you are referring to are SRS (speed reference system) and RWY modes which become active when the thrust levers are advanced. Speed Reference System (SRS) vertical mode is automatically engaged at takeoff or at go-around, ensuring optimum climb performance. This mode commands aircraft pitch to maintain reference speed. During takeoff, this speed is V2+10. The SRS mode automatically disengages and is replaced by CLB after passing acceleration altitude. RWY mode activates the ground roll command bar (shown as the green vertical line in the image above) on the PFD which keeps runway course .Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk

Thanks for that clarification, I had misunderstood. The following marker beacon signals are displayed:OM (in magenta colour) to indicate the outer markerMM (in orange colour) to indicate the middle marker, andAWY (in white colour) to indicate an airway marker or the ILS inner marker beaconRob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk
