Auto -Trim Failure

Recommended Posts

Guest Tydafpk

I installed my pss a340/330 on a brand new FS2004 and now the auto-trim will not work causing parts of the autopilot not to work and a constant backpressure on the control stick

When is this happening? Do you need constant back pressure during normal cruise or just on the take-off roll. I suspect it might be the latter so make sure you enter pitch trim of -1.8. You adjust this by using the Home/End keys on your keyboard and watchinhg the figure on the F/CTRL page of the lower ECAM.One advantage of manually setting the pitch trim (which will then go to auto after takeoff) is that it makes it slightly easier for you to maintain V2+10 on climbout.Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk
