Latest A330/340 FDE ver 1.2J

Recommended Posts

It's the same aircraft as the PSS one which has an overhead panel. Not sure if it comes with a book, if it does it won't be a thick one (no software comes anymore, not even software costing hundreds or thousands of Euros) so keep that printer stocked with ink and paper.

I am new to Air Bus, PSS, and to FMC's in general. I couldn't resist the 1/2 price sale, so here I am. I got the A340 on 23 April 2005 and have been too busy to play with it much so far. What I have seen in fooling around with it is impressive. My question is: Are the latest FDE's and other updates included with the download I got last week, or so I need to gather them up and install them now?I have checked out the Dash-8, but that is another positive plug on another forum.I am looking forward to the future PSS offerings, now that I have a clue about their quality and value.Regards - Steve

NOTSAM:I will permanently close the comcast website referenced in this topic around the end of May 05, as I prepare for another international household move. I will not have another site up for 2-4 months at the minimum. There is one of my Airbus A330-340 FDE file sets located in the PSS user edit section, but it is very old. Version 1.2J (on my site) is current, and is most likely the last version of these FDE I will publish. If anyone has an alternative site where we can post these files for general consumption, please contact me by PM or e-mail (address posted on the web site).RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300

Hi Bob,I have a big issue flying the A 320/330/340 product. Its seems like that when you are on an ILS approach no matter which airport you coose, the ILS and glideslope is never accurate. Mostly the aircraft is below the glideslope. Is this a FS 2004 general problem or an aircarft problem.ThanksMarek Ehrlich from Vienna /austria

@saluki57: cool! then you dit it right. The 340 is a bit tricky on the weight and speed. Add about 5 knots extra to have better approaches. But it all comes down to the right speeds, flaps and weight.Johan[A HREF=http://jdserver.no-ip.com]Personal Server[/A]A LITTLE LESS CONVERSATION, AND A LITTLE MORE ACTION PLEASE!HELP:http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=238882

After numerous requests, these FDE were re-uploaded to the AVSIM library on 14 Nov 2009, since the websites where I originally made them available no longer exist.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO
