IFR VIEWOne of the more difficult things I find about flying the airbus series of planes is using the 2d IFR view ( which I use most of the time). I just cant seem to get comfortable with the high glarescreen.What does everyone do to expose more of thje outside world. ThanksThats what I was thinking anyway, I suppose I could keep the vrf panel open and then unlock the missing pieces and put them on a second monitor.Thank you Peter

But which pieces do you think are "missing" and why is this causing you a problem? It moves to the detent and does not move. That takes a bit of getting used to.Is this correct?Thankspeter

Failures are not simulated in the Airbus. Have you got a third-party addon like FSPassengers (I think that does failures) which might be causing these?The waypoints and fixes in the F-PLN page of the MCDU do scroll through. The top one in green is the waypoint behind you, the next in white is your next waypoint with subsequent ones in green below it. If you are finding that this doesn't happen then perhaps a re-install might be needed.The fuel planner for the A340 should be in your Flight Simulator 9PSSAirbus A3XX folder. Please do not shout by using only upper case.I think what is happening here is you have the MS dead battery syndrome. Make sure you start your FS session with a default MS aircraft (I use the Boeing 737) with engines off and avionics on and save that as the default flight. Then re-start your FS session, load that default flight then load to the Airbus (which can be cold and dark if you wish).That will correct your gear issue and might also sort out the MCDU issue. If you have registered FSUIPC set the battery life to indefinite, or if you have unregistered either press ctrl+m or enter electric_always_available=1 into the [Electrical] section of your aircraft.cfg )create that section if it's not there). But you should still start your flight with the default aircraft/flight as I have described.
