I'm not sure what the other two emails are that you refer to, possibly my home email addresses, but flightsim emails should always come to me at airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukI have a look through and to my shame have realised that I did get the emails from you but didn't reply. Sorry. I think the one that needs action is the one containing the text of your aircraft.cfg - could you just remind me what the problem is that needs fixing.Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk

Hi Rob,To be honest I think the original problem has been resolved, see my post in the thread "PSS Airbus Pro" discussion. But, and here goes, I still have the problem of nose-up and consistantly coming in below glide slope, ie at least 1/2 a dot beneath the indicated alt. I have altered the scaling factor in Flaps0 settings. The scalar factor I altered using notepad, but what and how do you edit the airfiles? When looked at them they appear to be gibberish, as my E Mail may show, thats if these bits were transmitted. The reason I would like this info is to alter the settings as per scoob post 06-01-07.Regards JohnT

A number of different things here: 1) the nose up on approach is sorted by the lift_scalar entry in the aircraft.cfg. For the A319 and A320 it should be 1.42. For the A321 it shoudld be 0.926 2)Dave (scoob) referred to the table 404 entry. This is indeed a section of the air file but what he is referring to here is a mystery to me as it involves all sorts of angle of attack figures and I wouldn't know where to start.3) You need AirEd (http://www.simradar.com/File/2363/AirEd_Version_1_51.html) for changing the air file, but unless you know what you are doing you can cause havoc with your aircraft. Many entries are guesswork and the only people who know the air file details exactly work for Microsoft and don't publish the info.Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk

Thanks for the info, I guess I'll leave things as they are. I have just checked and the Lift_Scalar does have a value 1.42, so I suppose I am doing something else not quite right.Baw0674Can the intensity of the landing lights be reduced?
