keyboard entry of "." for A320 MCDU?

I use the "Scroll Lock" option to make entries to the MCDU via my keyboard, but this does not allow me to enter a decimal point.The main keyboard "." gives to character at all on the MCDU, and the keypad "." gives a delete character, since the NumPad switch has to be off for the Scroll Lock option to work.Is there any way round this, or must I go back to mouse clicks?--Bryn

In all the years of flying this aircraft I've never used the keyboard option for entering data into the MCDU. But I've just tried it with the same result as you (I used shift and ctrl). I'll have a look at my notes tomorrow but you might just need to use the mouse for the decimal. Thanks Rob, guess that puts the stop on my long distance plan to make an MCDU with a lot of switches, a keyboard encoder, and a separate screen.--Bryn
