Updated navdata for A320 anywhere?

Recommended Posts

Is there anywhere I can get updated navdata for the A320? I am using the original data from PSS which I have just reinstalled. I don't mind if the data is a few months old, but it would be nice to have some which is a bit closer to current charts and procedures.I checked the file library at Avsim without success.Thanks.--Bryn

The last free airac cycle 0608 is available from www.avsim.com; search for file pss_0608.zip in the file library. For cycles after that payment is required and each cycle is available fromhttp://www2.navigraph.com/www/default.aspRob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk

I have just updated to the latest version but have discovered something very wierd. All the Airport RWY'S has changed to RWY's which isnot associated with the Airport in my saved plans. The answer I received from NAVDATA was that it was not a issue of theirs any ideas ??

I get the same problem. To get around this, I "re-inject" the flight manually in the MCDU. I know it takes time but otherwise the autopilot gets lost.JG

Got the same problem also. LEAL rwys 10/28 (correct in real world) suddenly transformed into rwys 9/27. Gatwick is even worse. Any ideas for a fix, apart from 're-injection'?

The only way I have been able to overcome this was to resave the effect routes.

One of the things you can do to verify that it is a problem with the airac cycle is to enter the departure and arrival airports manually on INIT page 1 then check the runways and SIDs and STARs from the F-Plan page. YOu will usually find that they give you the correct runways. The problem occurs with loading imported flight plans and saved ones.Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk
