Airbus Pro problems taking off.

Recommended Posts

I have recently got the A319, A320 and A321. So far I have tried to fly the A319 and A320. However both aircraft have refused to come off the ground. Anyone know why this is?Danny

Firstly make sure you are not overweight and have the correct ZFW, block fuel and vspeeds set in the MCDU.Secondly, try setting the pitch trim to -1.8UP. You do this by calling up the F/CTRL page of the lower ECAM and using the Home and End keys can adjust the pitch trim which is shown in the centre of the F/CTRL page. Finally as you have only just got the A320 family it is probably worth repeating the instructions we always give which are that you should start your FS session with a default MS aircraft (I use the Boeing 737 but have never flown it). This should have avionics on and engines off and saved as the default flight. You can then change to the PSS Airbus which can be cold and dark if you wish. Each FS session thereafter you should start with that default aircraft and default flight before changing to the Airbus. Doing this overcomes the MS dead battery glitch. In case you also have the mouse flicker problem it worth getting the mouse flicker patch from the PSS website. It is also worth making sure that in your panel.cfg in widow08 you have the size_mm=2,2 not 1,1. Also if you have registered FSUIPC on the miscellaneous page make sure that battery life is set to indefinite. If you have unregistered FSUIPC, go to aircraft.cfg file and enter a new entry in the electricial section (create the section if it's not there) as follows: electric_always_available=1Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual airbus@speedbirdonline.co.ukhttp://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk
