TCAS?

I am getting alot of ac showing up when flying online with Vatsim.I was flying tonight from KORD to KATL and had traffic right in front of me and off to my left.I called ATL Center and asked if they had the traffic and he said I was all alone in my area.I took a pix and will try to upload it.Why am I getting traffic on the tcas when none is there? JeffG
