Hello fellow 777 rating trainees !I have the TrackIR device on order, and was just wondering if anyone had got it working successfully with the 777 yet ?I know there were problems with the RC1 zoom being too slow but it seems fine on Release 1.Would be good to hear from an TrackIR / Vector Expansion users (?)Thanks,:-)David.

Hi David,I too have the TrackIR Pro with the vector expansion and it works magnificently with the B777. The pre-release version would not allow the VC to zoom when you moved forward to view an instrument but this was sorted in the gold release.I can thoroughly recommend it but dont use the 4.1.028 Beta drivers from natural point's web site as they dont recognise FS9 at the moment. The 4.1.027 drivers work well. Download them rather than the drivers on the cd when you get it.You will not be disappointed but I would recommend flying with the default cessna in VC mode to get used to the TrackIR pro before venturing into the B777.....all those switches.MikeEGGP[http://img464.imageshack.us/img464/4969/phoenixps5ni.jpg]

i also tested TIR + VE last night on a rainy and turbulent approach into EGLL last night with the PSS T7..... WOW!!! it was super. did an autoland of course so that i could just sit back and relax and enjoy the view, especially with another T7 on parallel approach on the other runway. magnificent.like the other guy side, you will not be dissapointed! did you get the new Track IR? version 4 i believe.... i am using version 3.

Thanks Mike / Matthew,That's great advice about the Drivers.I think it's Version 3 that I got Matthew- it was a "combi" pack from Simware, that comes with the TrackIR, the Vector Expenansion, Baseball Cap, etc ....Can't wait :-) glad it works wel with the T7 !David.
