Nodding Observation

Recommended Posts

No idea if anyone else is seeing this, but I have found that if I go into a 'Head Down' mode with the VC cockpit on the T7-300ER such that there is no external view showing, the 'nodding' effect is hugely reduced. Flying at FL360 with 'real world' weather on and 'Head Up' at 4x rate produces nodding effects that build up to greater than 2000fpm. Go heads down again and they are either gone completely or less that 100fpm. If I go back up to head up mode the view would mae me sick very quickly. Is there a stange feedback effect whemn the scenery is showing, that is not there without it?Flight was EGKK to LCLK, VNAV on, LNAV on, AT on. Cruise at FL360, Cof G 55%.My system is a Sony P4 3.6GHz, 2GB RAM, 256MB NVidia 6600. Richard
