Can the 777 start up NOT in the cold and dark mode?

Apologies as I assume that this has been disucssed in length at some point somewhere, I checked the last few pages of posts and did a search but found nothing.If anyone knows if you can start the 777 NOT in the cold and dark mode, please let me know or post a link to another post where it has been discussed.Regards,Tom

Yes, yes it can. From the minipanel (the one that has the little buttons on the top), click SET, you'll get a screen. From there, simply set the startup mode to engines off or ready for takeoff. Apply the changes, then END THE FLIGHT AND RE-SELECT THE AIRCRAFT.
