Altitude Alerts

Does the 777 have a altitude alert tone that sounds around 900 feet away from the selected altitude? Have been flying this bird and have not heard any such alert tone. Just wondered if I am missing something.Thanks,Joe

Kind of hard to believe that no one here can answer this question. But I guess such is the case.Thanks anyway,Joe

Joe,In the 777 videos I own, I have never heard an altitude warning horn go off when approaching target altitude. The only warning comes in the form of the highlighted altimeter on the PFD. There is, however, an audible warning when you climb or descend 300 feet above or below the selected altitude on the MCP.Jeff
