Radio Panel INOP

Hi I just got my B777 Pro loaded and after reading the manuals started a flight from PHX HNL while sitting on the ground tried to tune radio with no luck. The switches and knobs do not work. So what's up with that did I waste my money??? Can anyone shed some light on the problem???

At the very top of this forum is a sticky. It says "If you read nothing else, please read this!"The switches and knobs do work.
