757 VC Autopilot lighting fix???

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if the AP gauge backlighting in the VC is slated to get fixed in a hopefully upcoming patch??? For all interested I adjusted the dome lighting to give the autopilot panel a little more light until PSS hopefully fixes this problem... Now all you have to do is turn on the dome light at dusk or night to brighten up the panel enough to adjust things like your heading for example.-200/300{lights}light.1 = 7, 72.50, 1.5, 6.5, FX_PSS_Panel_lightlight.2 = 7, 72.50, -1.5, 6.5, FX_PSS_Panel_lightlight.3 = 7, 73.50, -3.5, 10.0, FX_PSS_Panel_lightlight.4 = 9, -60.17, 3, 15.0, FX_PSS_logo_lightlight.5 = 9, -60.17, -3, 15.0, FX_PSS_logo_lightlight.6 = 1, 42.75, 0, 10.1, FX_PSS_beacon_Lightlight.7 = 1, 5.26, 0, -4.5, FX_PSS_beacon_Lightlight.8 = 5, 34.000, -7.300, -1.500, FX_PSS_LAND_lightlight.9 = 5, 34.000, 7.300, -1.500, FX_PSS_LAND_light

I have looked at this in more detail and I feel that there really is nothing wrong with the AA nose cone texture:1. It compares very well with photographs of AA 757 from 2 or 3 angles.2. At night at 1000 ft over the North Sea with 8/8 cloud cover, your world is very dark! Yet, with all lights off, FS9 still provides sufficient ambient light to see all the details of the livery from an external view. If the lights are switched on the nose cone does not change.John Rooum
