>What is the question?OK ...Why is the plane not following the track correctly, never seen a display like that on a Boeing. Usually plane (triangle) on a straight length of track(purple line) align and point dead straight at the heading indicator. With the 757 I've had as much as a 15 degree deviations. Thanks

I have also wondered why the magnetic heading (the direction your nose is pointed) is showing at the top and the track line (the Direction you are actually moving) is offset was modeled that way in the PSS 757, since in the 737 and 767 aircraft I fly and according to a friend of mine that was a captain on the 757 the track line stays top center and you get a secondary indicator (the triangle on the inside of the rose) of your magnetic heading.Geoff
