Rayek,You do not need to double post such questions.I do not recognise "London airport 2000" - is this one of Gary S' or from another developer?John Rooum

". . .I try pressing the PARK menu on the NAV menu. . ."Afraid I do not understand that. Could you perhaps post a screenshot?Normally, you would arm the LOC until established then arm APP to capture the glideslope at the published altitude.Jim Harnes

Well, I made my first flight today in the PSS B777ER-200. The Take Off and flight was fine; came 'unstuck' with the Landing, could not Lock on to the ILS - I did a GA but same result. The Landing was at the default EGLL Airport. I landed OK with a B738 before and after the B777 attempt.I fly Online quite often so I need to get this ILS problem sorted, if possible.Ken

Ken,If you have the 777 direct from PSS, you should have no problems auto-tuning the ILS. We should be able to get you locked on very quickly.1. Did you fly the tutorial flight - it can be a pain but it sorts out a lot of problems for your first 777 solo?2. Did you try to manually insert the EGLL ILS frequency into the CDU?John Rooum

Ken,OK. When you are planning your flight into EGLL, I assume that you do have a runway selected from the ARR page?Could you set yourself up on a runway centreline at EGLL at about 15 nm and manually select the correct ILS frequency and see what happens.John R

Hi John, yes, I have the arrival rwy selected.I'm 50% of the the way - G/S worked fine, could not lock on to the LLZ though. I'll try again tomorrow.I remembered about manually inserting the the ILS Frequency into the CDU - the late Capt. Peter Palm 'dinned' that into us 'young' pilots back in 2002, then it was the much loved PSS Airbus Series.Ken

Ken,If you have the GS, you generally must have the LOC. When you try tomorrow, have a look at the lights on the Ap - you should be able to lock on to the LOC first before you select APP to bring in the GS.John R

Ken,Just noticed in a post below that you load the 777 from the default Cessna {cold and dark}. This might be the problem - PSS require the 777 to be loaded from the default flight situation ie the Cessna with all systems on.John R

Hi John,For that Test flight yesterday I did start from the Cessna with engine and battery on. I omitted to say also that when I pressed to Loc button, from apprx. 10 nm out, the aircraft 'swung' away from the 272 Rwy Hdg.? - to the right, maybe I should have let it carry on to see where I would end up :) Anyway I will try again later today.Ken
