I've got to learn to tame my Avanti as wlll as Sonar has his. Could never get past 383 kts, and he's humming along at 400+, practically the entire way! The very first of the Alps Challenge legs... and by far the easiest. Of course, 'easy' is a relative term.Aosta during the day. Quite a lovely place, except for that mountain you can't see, just a 1/4 mi off my right wing. yes...Aosta was the easiest...i am tipping my hat: you guys are really courageous flying in the dark with this lousy visibility -and you must be pretty good pilots!...i guess after Courchevel (LFLJ) things are loosening up a bit...i am getting the strong feeling that you want to bring this to a finish in this night...i'm sure now: Avsim WILL win!at first i was a bit frustrated that i couldn't fly this race with you...without multi and without teamspeak it's really no use...but i kept hanging on, checking on the progress, keeping my fingers crossed and flying diverse legs along just to get a glimpse of the action...now you all are just hours away and i'll stay up until it's finished...right now it's 00:33 here in Bremen, Germany and i guess this will take at least two hours or so...go team go! :-wave

Thanks for checking in Manolito. We wished you could have joined us on teamspeak and during the race. You put in many good practice legs. Your enthusiasm for the race has been noted by many and I hope you will particpate in future years. Jeff W

oh i will Jeff, i will...definitely looking forward to that...though it seems that i'll have to wait for FSX to get out -or my FS9 crinding to a crunching halt making me reinstall everything...;-)
