This is certainly a useful tool. However, this puts load on my server (I own the smithplanet.com server) and a little bit of load on each multiplayer server. It's not a big deal, I just ask that if you aren't monitoring what's happening that you hide the servers in Google Earth. Just uncheck the checkbox next to the server name in My Places in Google Earth.I also will be updating the following graphic every few hours throughout the race. You can get full details and compare bonuses, speeds, and other race elements at http://smithplanet.com/rtw/If someone from Team AvSim would like to help update your legs as they happen, that would be great. Just log in at the link above.Cheers and good luck!http://smithplanet.com/rtw/rtw.jpg

This might be a little easier, but a bug seems to make it a little harder. Nevertheless:1. Install Google Earth2. Click http://www.flyingscool.com/files/FSX/RTW_2007.kmz 3. Save the file to your desktop - be sure to change the filename from RTW_2007.zip to RTW_2007.kmz before you hit save.4. Double-Click on the file RTW_2007.kmzI don't know why Windows wants to save it with a zip extension instead of the kmz extension (it is a zip file, but why change the extension?). Anyway, after you double click the file on your desktop, Google Earth should start and it should load up into Google Earth in to your "Temporary Places". You can right click on the RTW_2007 and select "Add to My Places" to save it permenantly. You can click on the "+" sign to the left of RTW_2007 to expand it to see the three teams and turn them on and off individually, or click on the check mark next to RTW_2007 to turn the whole thing off.To zoom in on a team, expand RTW_2007, and click on the team you want to zoom in on.I don't know how to tell who has the baton.Let me know if you have any problems.Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180
